Since ending his twenty-eight year career within the infrastructure and computer networking industry, Thomas lives with his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a rather nice apartment in the West Midlands area. He is currently single and openly admits to being a little reclusive since his divorce.
Although Thomas hasn’t written a novel before, he is an enthusiastic diarist and has kept a daily journal for many years. He is also an avid reader and has a book cabinet that’s considerably overloaded! He currently devotes sixteen hours a week to working as a volunteer in his local Cancer Research shop as he loves the great staff and the feel-good challenge. He also regularly donates to the NSPCC and the NSPCA, both causes that are close to his heart. He regularly offers home computer lessons to the over fifties and enjoys keeping them company just as much as he enjoys teaching them. In the past, Thomas has also worked with a security team at Birmingham City Stadium.
Thomas’s father suffers from Vascular Dementia and although Thomas visits him several times a week, his dad sadly doesn’t recognise him anymore.
Coming Soon from Thomas Piggott
Set in the Midlands during the 1970’s, Taboo tells the harrowing true story of the brutal abuse Thomas Piggott suffered as a young boy and the childhood that was so heartlessly stolen from him as a result. The book also follows him into adulthood, highlighting how the pain and emotional damage caused by these attacks have blighted his relationships, his career and his life in general, long after they have stopped.
Taboo is out now.
